About
Slovenians are a remarkable people. Almost 35 years ago, we fulfilled our millennial dream and won our independence. And look at what we have now! Mountains and valleys, sea and plains, karst caves and forests, walls and fences. We have the oldest musical instrument in the world, the oldest wooden wheel on the planet. And the most tractors and the most square metres of shopping malls per capita. We have Tina Maze, Peter Prevc, Luka Doncic, Slavoj Žižek and Herman Potočnik! Even Tesla is almost ours (but not the SpaceX one). In short, we have the potential to become one of the most successful countries in the world. One of the beacons of the 21st century. A new Switzerland! Slovenia first! That is to say, we could achieve all of these things if we could just put aside our grudges, bury the hatchets, stand united and breathe at the top of our lungs! But where do those eternal rifts and divisions which hold us back us from finally becoming a success story come from? How did we end up so divided that we just keep going at each others’ throats?
We try to answer these and many other questions with our show. And to find them, we have to go far, far back in time, probably further back than you think: FROM PALEOLITHIC TO TWITTING.
